Mindfulness training provides a toolbox that helps your child build more self-awareness and cultivate inner resilience. It teaches them powerful skills to manage stress in healthy ways and navigate everyday challenges more effectively.  More importantly, mindfulness practices help your child develop healthy habits for a lifetime of wellness and happiness.

Using breathing meditation, yoga, mindful play, kindness and gratitude games, mindful listening, affirmations, visualizations, mindful art & crafts, role playing, and compassionate communication, your child will learn:

  • Skills to regulate emotions and thoughts and boost self-esteem;

  • Strategies to cope with anxiety and stress;

  • Techniques to improve attention and concentration;

  • Ways to increase feelings of calm and self-acceptance;

  • Practices to cultivate compassion and communicate well with others

Course Outline:

Week 1: Intro to Mindfulness, Breathing, Mindful Listening & 5 Senses

Week 2: Mindfulness of Emotions

Week 3: Emotions continued

Week 4: Self-Worth, Self-Acceptance, Affirmations

Week 5: Empathy, Kindness, Inclusion, Forgiveness

Week 6: Body Awareness, Yoga, Progressive Relaxation

Week 7: Mindfulness of Thoughts, Guided Visualizations, Re-framing our Thoughts

Week 8: Gratitude & Heartfulness

Week 9: Mindful Rituals
